OKLAHOMA CITY – Rep. Annie Menz, D-Norman, released the following statement after the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, Governor Kevin Stitt, and Hitachi Ltd. announced the U.S. Department of Commerce's SelectUSA Investment Summit signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation.

“I am excited about this investment in Oklahoma involving Hitachi,” said Menz. “I am grateful for their commitment to east Norman and Oklahoma and their eagerness to collaborate with state leaders toward the same goals. When I toured Hitachi, it was clear they care deeply about our community, their employees, and the environment. I am hopeful this MOC will help to continue their efforts within Norman and throughout the state.”
