Biographical Information
PERSONAL:

A native of Ada, Rep. Ronny Johns has served House District 25 since 2018.

The son of two educators, Johns is a graduate of Byng High School. He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from East Central University. Before being elected to the Legislature, Johns spent 32 years as an educator in the Ada City School System. He was a teacher, coach, athletic coordinator, vice-principal and was principal at Ada Jr. High when elected.

His wife, Renee, also has worked in education for 30 years and is currently the counselor at Pontotoc County Technology Center. They have three children and four grandchildren.

Johns attends Central Church of Christ in Ada where he serves as church elder, Sunday school teacher and worship leader.
