John Pfeiffer, a Republican from Orlando, was first elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives in 2014. He represents House District 38, which includes all of Grant County and parts of Garfield, Kay, Logan and Noble counties. He's entering his eighth year serving as Deputy Majority Floor Leader in the House.

A lifelong Logan County resident, Pfeiffer is a rancher raising Angus cattle and is the fifth generation of his family to farm the land. As a Marine, Pfeiffer served from 2009 to 2014, including a deployment to Afghanistan in 2011.

Pfeiffer is a graduate of Mulhall-Orlando High School where he was active in 4-H and FFA. Pfeiffer's parents were educators as well as ranchers. He knows rural schools and agriculture are the foundation of rural Oklahoma. He is a leading advocate in rebuilding rural highways and improving county roads and bridges and is invested in protecting the rural way of life and Oklahoma values.

Pfeiffer lives on his farm in Orlando with his wife, Sierra, and their son.
