Biographical Information
PERSONAL:

In 2022, Rep. Josh Cantrell was elected to represent House District 49 in the Oklahoma House of Representatives.

Cantrell and his family are lifelong residents of Kingston, Oklahoma, where he graduated high school. He attended Murray State College until he graduated with his associate degree in 1995. He then continued his education at East Central University, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree.

Cantrell served as Commissioner of District 2 as well as County Commissioner Chairman. He sat on the board for ACCO Legislative Committee.

He and his wife, Tanya, have two sons, Jarron and Marshall, who are involved in agriculture and are supporters of 4-H and the Jr. Livestock Association.
