Biographical Information
PERSONAL:

Mike Dobrinski was born and raised in Okeene, and is the fourth generation of his family to call House District 59 home. Dobrinski loves western Oklahoma and understands the interests and concerns of rural communities because he shares them from a lifetime of experience.

Dobrinski graduated Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He and his wife, Ginny, a public school teacher in Okeene, are proud parents of adult quadruplets; Paul, James, Scott and Shelby. All are OSU graduates and pursuing various careers throughout Oklahoma.

A well-known and successful businessman, Dobrinski and his brother Jim owned and operated Chevy dealerships in Okeene and Kingfisher for over 35 years before he sold the business in 2018 and retired. He also was in the restaurant business like his grandparents before him.

Dobrinski has long been involved in cattle ranching and knows how hard Oklahoma farmers work and the importance of agriculture to Oklahoma’s economy. He is known for his work ethic and being fair and honest. He says his jobs have always about “serving people and solving problems.”
Dobrinski has served as president of the Okeene Kiwanis Club, Chamber of Commerce, School Foundation, Blaine County Industrial Team and Pioneer Telephone Cooperative, where he still serves as trustee since 1998.

He is pro-life, an NRA member and fights against Washington corruption and lessening the burden on the daily lives of Oklahomans. In the House, Dobrinski serves on Speaker Charles McCall’s Leadership Team and was chosen by McCall to be a member of the Agriculture & Rural Development Committee for the Council of State Governments, and to attend the National Emerging Leaders Conference.

Dobrinski and his wife, Ginny, are lifelong members of First United Methodist Church of Okeene. Dobrinski is chairman of the Administrative Council, has led youth, choir, Sunday School and serves as Lay Speaker on occasion.
