Biographical Information
PERSONAL:

Mike Lay, a dedicated public servant and lifelong Tulsan, brings a wealth of experience to his role as State Representative for Oklahoma’s House District 68. With deep roots in the community, Mike is a founding member of Victory Church as well as an ordained minister, dedicating his life to faith, family and service. He is a proud graduate of Oklahoma's public education system and the product of a close-knit family, with three brothers and parents who instilled in him strong values.

Mike founded his company, starting with just three employees and growing the company into a successful operation that now employs over 150 people. The company has become a leader in industrial sales, with Mike bringing over 45 years of industry experience, a commitment to excellence and a dedication to ongoing professional development.

Mike’s conservative values and business acumen have guided his approach to policy and service. He and his wife, Debby, have been married over 45 years and are proud parents to three children—a teacher, a firefighter and a business owner—and grandparents to seven. Together, they founded a family foundation to support philanthropic causes close to their hearts.

In his personal time, Mike enjoys fishing, especially with his children and grandchildren, and has a deep love for the outdoors and wildlife. A lifelong learner, Mike is committed to both personal and professional growth, continuously seeking ways to better serve his community and the state of Oklahoma.

Lay was elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives for the 60th Legislature and appointed as vice chair on the Business Committee. Lay was also appointed by the Speaker of the House to sit on the Appropriations and Budget Finance Subcommittee, Commerce and Economic Development Oversight Committee, and Utilities Committee.
