Biographical Information
PERSONAL:

Representative Mark Lepak proudly serves House District 9, which includes Rogers and Tulsa counties. He was first elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives in 2014.

In the 60th Legislature, Lepak serves as chair of the Banking, Financial Services and Pensions Committee. He also serves on the Appropriations and Budget Finance Subcommittee, the Government Oversight Committee, and the Energy Committee.

Lepak built a 37-year career in telecommunications, and at his retirement in 2015, led teams of up to 800 employees across a five-state region, who built and maintained diverse technology platforms providing landline and cellular voice, data, internet, and television services. His diverse work history also includes farming, electrical work in a potash mine, and offshore drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.

A graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a degree in engineering physics, Lepak previously served on the Claremore City Council and the Moore School Board.

He and his wife, an attorney, have been married for 47 years and raised five children, all of whom are law school graduates with successful careers. Lepak enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, soon to number 17, and credits his family as his greatest accomplishment.
