Biographical Information
PERSONAL:

Rep. Emily Gise proudly represents Oklahoma’s 90th District, serving communities across Cleveland and Oklahoma counties.

A sixth-generation Oklahoman and proud graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Gise brings nearly a decade of state government experience, including her tenure at the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. Her leadership played a pivotal role in developing programs that helped Oklahomans transition from state benefits to the workforce, breaking the cycle of poverty and fostering long-term economic independence.

Elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives for the 60th Legislature, Gise was appointed by the Speaker of the House to serve as Vice Chair of the Appropriations & Budget Human Services Subcommittee. She also serves on the Business, Children, Youth & Family Services, and Government Modernization & Technology Committees, where she advocates for policies that strengthen Oklahoma’s workforce, support families, and promote innovation.

Beyond the Capitol, Gise is an active community leader, serving on boards for Oklahoma St. Jude, the Central Oklahoma Association for Talent Development, and Emerge Empowered. She and her husband, Josh, are dedicated members of Life.Church South OKC.

Gise’s dedication to public service is fueled by her deep sense of responsibility to family, heritage, and the belief that true leadership is best expressed through service.
