Biographical Information
PERSONAL:

Representative Dell Kerbs has served House District 26 in the Oklahoma House of Representatives since 2016. He currently serves as chair of the House Education Oversight Committee.

Kerbs was born in Ponca City and raised in Dewey, but has called Shawnee home for many years. He and his family own and operate a small restaurant in the heart of the city, where they have provided food and memories to many families in Shawnee.

As a business owner, Kerbs understands the importance of having educated and skilled workers. He has worked to build up his local community and understands the challenges businesses face in rural communities, the pressures on Oklahoma families, and the factors that undermine public safety.

He's worked to build up the local economy as a member of the Shawnee Historic Alliance, the Downtown Merchant Group, and Shawnee’s Planning Commission. He is also a member of the Emergency Operations Center, working to keep his neighbors safe. For 21 years, he has served as president of Safe Events for Families (SEFF), which provides festivals and entertainment for the local community.

He and his wife, Linda, have two daughters. The family attends Life Church Shawnee.
