Biographical Information
PERSONAL:

Rep. Bob Ed Culver, a Republican from Tahlequah, has represented House District 4 in the Oklahoma House of Representatives since being elected in 2020. His district includes parts of Cherokee and Wagoner counties.

Culver, known by his friends as "Big Ed," is a native of Cherokee County and a seasoned cattleman and businessman. He's a graduate of Tahlequah High School and a former offensive lineman for the Oklahoma Sooners under legendary coach Barry Switzer. His late father, Bob Ed Culver, Sr., also served the people of Tahlequah and Cherokee County as a representative in the state Legislature.

During his time in the Legislature, Culver has worked to protect conservative values, support law enforcement, combat human trafficking and increase funding for public education. He's also fought for better border and immigration policies to cut down on the fentanyl and illegal marijuana grows ravaging communities across the state. He's a staunch supporter of Second Amendment rights and a firm believer in the U.S. Constitution.

Culver has been married to his wife Julie since 1982. They have three married children and six grandchildren.
